Centennial Chapter Cookies For Soldiers

This letter came from the soldier we serve through our "Cookies for Soldiers" program.  We bake cookies and send personal letters to this soldier each month.  It is a wonderful program and our way of thanking the military for serving our great country.  Below is the letter that Capt. Smith sent to our Philanthropy Liaison, Leigh Steel, here at our Centennial Chapter in Georgia.  This is a photo of him :-)

Ms. Steel,

I sincerely appreciate your kindness and the generosity of your organization.  Your support and the support of those back home truly make a positive impact on our daily lives.
You may see this as a small gesture, but I assure you that it is much more to those of us away from our families and in harms way.
Chocolate chip or any other type of cookie will be welcomed with open arms.  I do, however, support your broccoli strategy!
Thank you again for your kind words and your support. I look forward to the notes from the young men in your organization and will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.

Have a wonderful day.

Respectfully,

CPT Joe Smith

You may see this as a small gesture, but I assure you that it is much more to those of us away from our families and in harms way.
Chocolate chip or any other type of cookie will be welcomed with open arms.  I do, however, support your broccoli strategy!
Thank you again for your kind words and your support. I look forward to the notes from the young men in your organization and will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.

Have a wonderful day.

Respectfully,

CPT Joe Smith

This letter came from the soldier we serve through our "Cookies for Soldiers" program.  We bake cookies and send personal letters to this soldier each month.  It is a wonderful program and our way of thanking the military for serving our great country.  Below is the letter that Capt. Smith sent to our Philanthropy Liaison, Leigh Steel, here at our Centennial Chapter in Georgia.  This is a photo of him :-)
